My background and coaching style
Adele Griffin - Life Coach / Positive Change Coach
It’s important to know a little bit about anyone you’re trusting to coach you—so here are a few bits and pieces about me, Adele, positive change coach and fitness professional.
I love my career as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. However part way through I came to a realisation: I had more to offer! Seeing a life coach myself helped me to realise exactly what that was. That coach allowed me to understand my own strengths and abilities, uncover my deep passions, and get a clear idea of direction.
So, this experience helped me to discover a passion and strength: coaching! My style is a little different than your typical career-focused life coaching. Health, fitness, mindset, and overall well being are still my area of expertise and interest.
My clients have a range of goals, and I aim to help them make changes that will get them to where they want to be. I want to inspire confidence in those who feel stuck, trapped or stressed in their lifestyle that they can alter their self limiting beliefs, habits and old patterns to create a healthy, positive, empowered life.
Together, we find clarity on what is important to you. Self-exploration is a very important aspect of positive change coaching, and we do this through questioning, practical tools, and activities which guide us in finding your areas of interest and strengths to help you to move forward.
Importantly, I recognise that my clients must sustain the change long-term. I hit upon the term “positive change coaching” because whatever their goals might be, I can guide them to make small, sustainable adjustments that add up to an enduring positive change in their lives.

Face to face coaching sessions can take place at my cosy home space in New Lynn, West Auckland or my great motivational office in Ellerslie. But they can also take place in variety of local cafes, parks or beaches, depending on what has been planned for the session. Online options are also avaliable.
Packages and pricing
12-week Positive Change Coaching package
This package will help you to make and sustain the changes that will build and lead to your desired lifestyle. We will use self-exploration techniques and also deploy science-based habit-forming exercises to set your goals—and then work together to achieve them. I’ll be with you every step of the way!
Positive change coaching is unique to each and every person according to their desired outcomes. While the content differs, the format is the same: six 90-minute one-on-one sessions over the 12 weeks, conducted either in person or online.
Price: $750—this can be paid upfront or in two installments of $375.
12-week personal training and Positive Change Coaching package
If fitness is a part of your overall lifestyle goals, this package might be ideal for you. It’s designed to kickstart your fitness as well as doing the work to ensure that your good habits—exercise-related and others—are being ingrained and sustained.
I love this package because it demonstrates how your mindset is so important to your progress in anything. Combining the training and the coaching will truly set you up for success. It’s a pleasure putting into practice during a workout what’s being achieved during a coaching session.
The package includes six 90-minute one-on-one coaching sessions and eight 60-minute one-on-one training sessions (your choice of general training or Pilates) over the 12 weeks, conducted either in person or online. You will also receive eight weeks of access to the GO Fitness online workout library. You can choose to receive pre and post weigh ins/fitness testing and nutritional guidance.
Price: $1,350—this can be paid upfront or in two installments of $675.
